SOFIA WAS BORN in Pyongyang, North Korea. She was taken away by her mother after knowing that the family of Sofia's father despise a daughter. They were hoping for having a male descendant so he could later join the military which has been in their family bloodline.
ㅤㅤOne day, Sofia's mother found out that her in-law family planned to hurt—or even killed if it is needed, they say—Sofia. She immediately asked for a help from her bestfriend (Park Haewon) who used to going out and coming in the country easily. She chose Indonesia, as it was in the suggestion list, to be the place that her in-law family would not want to come after her.
ㅤㅤTheir (Rachel and Sofia) arrival to Indonesia brought them to live in Jakarta as Haewon suggested too. Rachel began her life as a tailor that time. The ups and downs in her life especially when there was a crisis in the new country she lived in were not that easy. It took a few years (specifically 6 years) for Rachel to finally be able building a small boutique that sells her clothing works. Her works are known to be an authentic and so 'Rachel'. She usually embroiders pillow case, sheets, or table cloth with a scenery from Korea. After those hard and survival life, she managed on growing Sofia by herself. In her fifth year of staying in Indonesia, Rachel decided to change her name from Kim Yuna to Rachel Yuanita. As well as she changed her daughter name from Kim Sara to Sofia Augustine.
ㅤㅤ

RAISED WITHOUT A FATHER figure had never been easy for Sofia, especially when she started her elementary school year. Everything was good at first, the environment and all. Once she was in the fifth grade, she made her first enemies because of her skintone and non-Indonesian face. A few of her friends mocked her for her appearance and that was just the beginning of the terror she had to experience during her elementary year. In the sixth grade, the graduation year, her friends were pitying her about the absence of her father figure for all this year, her mother told Sofia and everybody that Sofia's father had passed.
ㅤㅤThe junior high school changed it a little bit. Those were the year where Sofia's mother met her current husband and someone Sofia finally called as a father (Andrew Lawardi). He was her friend's father whose wife (Christina Lawardi) had passed after giving a birth to the son (Alexander Oktorius Lawardi). Andrew and Christina moved from Hongkong to Indonesia the year Alex was born and unfortunately the same year that Christina passed.
ㅤㅤThe junior year was never easy too for Sofia. In the third year, she fought with someone who called her mom 'mistress' after marrying Alex's father. Not to mention the bullying she had to receive when it comes to her distinctive feature and appearance. When the junior high school year ended, Andrew suggestion was accepted to register Lawardi as Rachel and Sofia last name. Andrew and Rachel also enrolled Sofia and Alex for their senior year at the same school, Moeis High School.

SHE BEGAN HER CAREER at the beginning of the year while she was studying in college as a student majoring in Visual and Communication Design. Sofia confidently embraced her distinctive appearance that eventually she believed different from domestic models because of her Korean blood. She signed a contract with a modeling agency when she graduated from college and has been traveling the world ever since.
ㅤㅤHowever, her life again did not go smoothly because of a scandal that had involved her. The scandal is the fact that Sofia was in a relationship with the leader of her agency, Antares Bimantara Sudipto. They were having an affair that later bursted to the media. However, Ares helped her for granted by doing her a favor. Sofia's name had never been revealed in that scandalous news. She remained 'The Mistress'.
ㅤㅤThe scandal caused Antares to be replaced by a female leader named Yesica Setiadjie, who then later became Sofia's mentor in exploring her orientation as a bisexual. They were in a complicated relationship, friends with benefit, sex for fun and no string attached. Yesica played around with girls as bad as Antares. At this time Sofia never trusted any commitment and had unhealthy lifestyle, ultimately when it comes to her intimate experience.
ㅤㅤIn the end of 2017, Yesica brought Sofia to Georgina Eileen Ronald, the daughter of Bartimore Eiduard Ronald, the leader of publication company known especially in America, THE BARTIMORE. Yesica told Georgina who was currently looking for a Chief Editor back then. Long short story after hearing Sofia's passion for exploring fashion and lifestyle, Georgina who also felt like Sofia is cooperative and communicative enough to work with her, agreed on the one year trial. Sofia made it to the Chief Editor till now and is famous with her contradicting opinion which made her seemed unpredictable.
